Peekaboo Kids App Reviews

Phew to other parent reviewers

This is funny the horse poops (have you ever been to a farm?) We find it funny, my 11/2 year old daughter laughs every time. The game can keep her entertained for hours. Just wish the chicken would be presented as a duck as it looks more like a duck. Also i wish i could buy the extra packets as regular apps becuse I cant remember my prestrictions passcode, I cant make in app purchases...

Stupid

I cant even find the app on my phone even though it says I can open it. Go to open it and it wont open it in the App Store.

App is black on iPod touch

My daughter really enjoys this app on my phone, however it doesnt work on her iPod touch 5th generation. It just shows black. Im also having a hard time contacting the developer for support. Please somebody help me so I can get this up and running on an iPod touch.

My one year old loves it but it needs some work

Note: I made the in-app purchase for additional sets of flash cards (for lack of a better word). This app is easy to use for even the very youngest children. My son (currently 15 months but started using this at around one year) is not one for sitting still and loves pressing (physical) buttons (like the home button, which makes using apps for longer than two seconds tough), and this is the only app that holds his attention long enough that he has learned how to use it. It was very easy for him to learn as it requires just tapping in the middle of the screen over and over to see the doors open and close and reveal different animals, vehicles, etc. However, there are some inaccuracies such as: an animal that looks like a duck is called a chicken, they use terms that make it obvious this app was not written by native (American) English speakers (space rocket and motor bike, for example) and the instrument claimed to be a "flute" is held in front of the body and not out to the side (a personal peeve of mine as I played the flute for a long time). I could also do without the pooping animals (they appear in some of the additional sets you get when you complete the in-app purchase in addition to the pooping horse in the barn). My son only uses this app while siting in my lap, so I usually turn off the sound and make the noises and name the animals myself. I think this would be great if they fixed these small issues.

Worth it

This app was worth every penny of 2.99 my 1yr old played this app for a 3hr plane ride laughing each time

Sound only works when iPad is hooked up to speakers

We would give this app ten stars if only the sound would work without being hooked up to speakers. Our 20 month old loves the game when we use it with the speakers. All of his other games run great with the sound. Not sure what the problem is and the help site is down.

yays

I loved this app, accept my daughter accidentally deleted it. Now, I have to re-purchase it so only 4 stars.

Good

My baby loved it she really became interactive with the game

Good app for young toddlers

My 17 month old loves this app. Plenty of interaction and options with the purchased versions.

Great

App is perfect. Child learns to recognize and moves through options quickly.

Long hours of fun with my daughters

The application is great. My twin two year old daughters learn very quick how to use the application with some supervision. They love it. I have a lot of fun with them playing and learning. The only thing that is weird is that the chicken looks like a duck!

18 month old loves it

As other reviewers have said, it would be nice if the chicken didnt look like a duck and chirp like a chick. Also, since the horse poops and farts, our daughter now blows raspberries when we ask her what a horse sounds like. Otherwise, we love this app and find it educational.

One problem

My son loves this app. But he accidentally deleted this app. I reinstalled it thinking I would still have the full version that I paid for. But I dont. I would like to know who I could contact about this please.

17 month old loves :-)

My little one LOVES! At 1st he was little afraid but warmed up to it. Now its the 1st games he goes for when playing on our iPad. A little confusing that the chicken looks like a duck. He thinks its a duck... Maybe yall could change that! But other than that its wonderful.

Baby loves the music

My 18 month old dances whenever the introduction to the app starts. She also enjoys playing the game.

Fun game

2year old grandson enjoys playing and fun to watch him

Great!

The my 17 month olds favorite app!! I download the full version, its great!

A fun app for toddlers

I let my son casually played with this app when he was 15-month old. He would just click around and look at the animations. The music is fun to listen, too. Now he is 16-month old, he enjoys it for a good 10 minutes. Hes not picking up the words yet, but its fun to watch the animations.

My baby loves this app but...

It doesnt work on her iPod touch

Love it!

My 14 month old has been playing this for game for several months. When he fully mastered (and still loved) the game, we upgraded to the full version. He plays it daily. He knows all his farm animals (and sounds), in part, because of this app. He now also knows all his forrest animals, some vehicles, and some instruments. If I had anything to complain about it would be the fact that when you play the quiz, you cant choose to only work one category at a time. It mixes all the categories together and I think that makes it a little too hard for a one year old.
